Serving HumanityBranding

Client: Al Huda Institute
Role: Brand Designer
Deliverables: Logo Design, Visual Identity, Typography Treatment

Project Context

Serving Humanity is the social impact division of Al Huda Institute, established to lead its charitable and community-driven initiatives. The goal was to create a brand identity that could visually communicate compassion, service, and inclusivity—while maintaining a clear connection to the parent organization.

We grounded the identity in the concept of connection—portraying Serving Humanity as the vital link between the institute and the broader public. The logo features a unified symbol where the initials S and H intertwine, with the “S” gently overlapping the “H” to symbolize servitude embracing humanity.
Initially conceptualized as a closed chain, the mark evolved into a more open, teardrop-inspired form to better express inclusiveness and emotional openness. This shift reflected the division’s broader reach and the desire to welcome all communities, not just a select few.
To reinforce warmth and humanity, the logotype features a custom “R” within an otherwise geometric, rounded sans-serif—subtly balancing professionalism with empathy.
