The owners at BlackGold Cafe needed to rebrand their cafe, so we worked together to come up with a brand that speaks to their need to rebirth themselves, and emerge and an evolved BlackGold. Thus, Vanta was born. Stemmed from a loose definition of vanta being the blackest of blacks, we gave the word Vanta it’s own meaning, and explained through literal dictionary definitions. and phrases around the restaurant.
I worked with the owners on their logo design, signage, menu design, in-store decoration and marketing, business cards, and website.
